Overview
Plobyte, LLC (“Plobyte”) provides transparency and optimization for your digital advertising campaigns. This privacy notice (“Plobyte Privacy Notice”) explains who we are, how we collect, use and share information through our reporting and optimization tool (“Product”), as well as how you can exercise your privacy rights.
1. Who is Plobyte?
Plobyte is a Delaware-incorporated Limited Liability Company. Product provides transparency and optimization for digital advertising campaigns. Our Product provides independent, digital advertising measurement, data, and analytics about ad impression quality and website session quality.
As used in this Plobyte Privacy Notice, “Information” means a) information that relates to each impression of your digital advertising campaign or b) information that relates to each website session. We do not collect any explicit personally identifiable information such as name and email address.
The purpose of this Plobyte Privacy Notice is to inform you of Plobyte’s privacy practices, particularly our approach to the use, collection, and sharing of your digital advertising data in our Product, as well as your rights and how to exercise them.
2. What Information does Plobyte process and what is the legal basis of processing?
The following list provides what Information we process.
Impression Time Stamp: The date when the impression activity took place online.
Domain: The site where the impression was served.
Impression Visibility Duration: How long the impression stayed visible for more than 50% of the creative pixel.
Tab Visibility: Check whether the tab is visible or not, and the percentage of the iframe that is in the viewport.
IP Address: The IP address of the location where the impression was served.
Page Views: Web activity on customer website and duration of sessions.
Page Visibility Duration: How long the page view was active.
Session: A collection of page views within a consecutive 30-min time window.
The activity of collecting Information is solely for the purposes of serving your reporting and optimization needs for your digital advertising campaigns. We do not and will not share your Information with any third party entities without a written consent from you.
Please note we may develop inferences drawn from Information we collect from your digital advertising campaigns.
3. How do we use Information we collect?
We use Information we collect to calculate the percentage value of each Domain’s Impression Visibility Duration that are more than or equal to 1 second or less than 1 second.
Once calculation is done through our software, we will recommend which Domains should be blocked from your campaigns or be used as an inclusion list.
We may aggregate your Information to conduct statistical analysis. Such analysis will be strictly aggregated and anonymized to prevent any correlation with or link to your Information.
4. How and to whom do we disclose Information?
Plobyte does not disclose your Information to third parties unless there’s a written request or consent from you directly. We will strictly disclose your Information to you for the purposes of providing our services outlined in our Terms of Service.
5. How long do we keep Information?
We will retain your Information as long as you use Product. If you wish to stop using Product, you may request data purge, which we will do within 30 days of the receipt of the notification.
6. How is Information secured?
Tracking data is sent securely to a TLS encrypted Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloudfront endpoint and stored in a private s3 bucket. Snowflake database is hosted in AWS and is granted access to read tracking data from s3 bucket to load into database. Data is queried from applications running within the same AWS account only.
Access to AWS account and Snowflake are restricted to employees of Plobyte and require secure SAML and 2FA authentication.
7. How is Information transferred internationally?
AWS Cloudfront endpoints are deployed in US and EU regions. Tracking data from the browser is sent to the nearest cloudfront endpoint securely and transferred to US-east-1 s3 bucket using AWS private network for processing and storage. All data is stored and processed in Virginia, United States through Amazon Web Services (AWS).
8. Does Plobyte and its Product use cookies?
Like many other software companies, we use cookies, pixels and software development kits (SDKs) to collect Information about your digital advertising campaigns. The use is strictly to service your reporting and optimization needs and Information is not shared with any third party.
9. Governing law
To the extent applicable and permitted by applicable laws and regulations, Plobyte and Product are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the internal laws of the state of Delaware, and jurisdiction and venue for any dispute will be in Delaware.
10. Do we update this Plobyte Privacy Notice?
We may update this Plobyte Privacy Notice occasionally to reflect changes in our practices, policies or other internal or external changes, as well as to comply with new legal requirements. Any changes will be communicated with you via email as soon as they go into effect. If we make updates, we will update the “effective date” listed at the top to help you understand when changes were made.
